<p><b>صفحهٔ تازه</b></p><div>'''احْياءُ عُلوم الدين'''، معروف به احياءالعلوم از كتابهاي مهم ديني، اخلاقي، عرفاني و مواعظ به عربي نوشتة ابوحامد محمد غزالي<sup>*</sup> (د 505 ق/ 1111م) دانشمند مشهور ايراني.<sup>1</sup> غزالي تأليف اين اثر را ميان 488-500ق / ؟م و در دوران كنارهگيري از تدريس در نظامية بغداد و هنگام اقامت در شام، بيتالمقدس و حجاز، به پايان برد.<sup>2</sup> احياءعلوم الدين به چهار فصل با عنوان «ربع» تقسيم ميشود: كه عبارتند از 1ـ عبادات، 2ـ عادات، 3ـ مُهْلِكات، 4ـ مُنجيات. هريك از اين ربعها نيز شامل ده كتاب است.<sup>3</sup> در ربع اول، غزالي تنها به معاني عبادات نظر دارد. در ربعهاي ديگر مؤلف همه جا از كتاب و سنت پيامبر(ص) پيروي ميكند و آنچه بدان توجه دارد، فقه اخروي است.<sup>4</sup> احياءعلوم الدين از بدو تأليف توجة علما و دانشمندان اسلام را برانگيخت و مخالفان و موافقان بسياري پيدا كرد. برخي مانند احمد غزالي،<sup>*</sup> برادر مؤلف شروحي بر آن نوشتند، بعضي اعتراضها و انتقاداتي بر آن وارد كردند و گروهي هم در مقام پاسخ به سؤال مخالفان آن برآمدند.<sup>6</sup> بيان غزالي در احياء علوم الدين روان و گيرا و نثر وي عاري از تكلف، سجع، شطح و لافزني است.<sup>5</sup> از ميان شروح مهم آن ميتوان اتّحاف السادة المتّقين اثر سيد محمد حسيني مشهور به مرتضي زبيدي مؤلف تاج العروس را نام برد.<sup>7</sup> از بهترين تلخيصهاي كتاب، المحجة البيضاء في تهذيب الاحياء از ملا محسن فيض كاشاني (د 1091 ق / 1680م) است.<sup>8</sup> تلخيص ديگري از آن نيز توسط خود غزالي با عنوان كيمياي سعادت به فارسي و ظاهراً ميان 492ـ505ق / ؟م صورت گرفته است.<sup>9</sup> مؤيدالدين محمد خوارزمي در 620 ق در دهلي به امر شمسالدين اُلتتمش پادشاه هند، احياءعلوم الدين را به فارسي برگرداند.<sup>10</sup> <br />
