''اسرارالتوحيد'' قديمترين تأليف در زندگاني اوليا و از مآخذ اصلي عطار در ''تذكرةالاوليا'' و جامي در ''نفحاتالانس'' به شمار ميرود.<sup>4</sup> ميتوان به خاطر جملهبندي آن ـ كه به زبان محاورة زمان خود توأم با فصاحت و بلاغت است ـ از حيث كهنگي سبك بر بسياري از آثار مهم دورههاي ساماني و غزنوي رجحان داد.<sup>5</sup> نخستين بار ژوكوفسكي[1] خاورشناس روسي ''اسرارالتوحيد'' را تصحيح كرد و آن را در پترزبورگ در 1899 م / 1317 ق به چاپ رساند. پس از او به كوشش احمد بهمنيار (تهران، 1313 ش) طبع شد. سومين چاپ آن نيز توسط ذبيحالله صفا (تهران، 1332 ش) صورت گرفته است.<sup>6</sup> <br />
