text-decoration: none;">فکاهی </ins>و طنزآمیز باباشمل در زمره نشریاتی است <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">که </ins>در اثر فضای ایجاد شده پس از شهریور بیست در <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[[</ins>ایران<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">]] </ins>شروع به انتشار <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">کرد</ins>.  صاحب امتیاز این نشریه <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">که </ins>به صورت هفته‌نامه منتشر می‌شد، مهندس رضا گنجه‌ای از رجال سیاسی وقت بود <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">که </ins>خود او هم به «باباشمل» شهرت پیدا <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">کرده </ins>بود. این روزنامه هفتگی در روزهای پایانی 1321ش موفق به <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">کسب </ins>امتیاز از وزارت فرهنگ گردید و در 1322ش شروع به انتشار نمود. مهندس گنجه‌ای مدیر روزنامه، استاد و رئیس <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">دانشکده </ins>فنی و <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">یک </ins>بار هم وزیر [[پست]] و [[تلگراف]] شده بود. او در 1290ش دیده به <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[[جهان نو|</ins>جهان<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">]] </ins>گشود و در 15 شهریور 1374 در خارج <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[[کشور ایران|کشور]] </ins>چشم از جهان بربست. وی شخصاً با ذوق و نویسنده‌ای خوش قلم بود و خیلی از مطالب مندرجه در باباشمل را شخصاً می‌نگاشت. هفته‌نامه باباشمل جمعاً مدت چهار سال منتشر شد و در 1326ش به <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">کلی </ins>تعطیل گردید. نخستین شماره هفته‌نامه باباشمل <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">که </ins>به قطع <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">کتابی </ins>و <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">کوچک </ins>منتشر می‌شد در روز 25 فروردین 1322ش انتشار یافت و سرمقاله آن را مهندس گنجه‌ای نوشت و ضمن آن از روزنامه‌نگاران دوران مشروطه چون <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[[</ins>صوراسرافیل<ins style="font-weight: bold;
