گروههايي از بهارلوها در شرق آناطولي در شهرستان ديار بكر پراكندهاند.<sup>5</sup> بهارلوهاي روسيه هم اغلب در جمهوري آذربايجان در نواحي شوشا و زنگهزور و روستاهاي ديگر پراكندهاند.<sup>6</sup> بهارلوهاي ايران در مناطقي از شهرها و روستاهاي استانهاي آذربايجان، خراسان، كرمان و فارس پراكندهاند. امروزه از بهارلوهاي آذربايجان نامي در فهرست ايلات اين استان ديده نميشود چون هويت قومي و ايلي خود را از دست دادهاند و به ايلات و طوايف ديگر پيوستهاند. لكن نامهاي مناطق مسكوني آنها كه برگرفته از بهارلوست، بر سكونت آنها در آن نواحي دلالت ميكند.<sup>7</sup> بهارلوهاي پراكنده در فارس در 1278ش به ايلات خمسه پيوستند.<sup>8</sup> در 1311ش بهارلوهاي فارس هشت هزار خانوار جمعيت داشتند و متشكل از 20 تيره: ابراهيمخاني، احمدلو، اسماعيلخاني و غيره بودند.<sup>9</sup> از جمعيت امروزي آنها اطلاعي در دست نيست. <br />

بهارلوها به عنوان سرداران سپاه و مرداني جنگاور و فرمانروايان برخي مناطق در طول حكومت قراقوينلوها نقش مهمي داشتند. <br />
