<p><b>صفحهٔ تازه</b></p><div>'''جبهه ملي ايران'''، سازمان سياسي مركب از روزنامهنگاران، سياستمداران، وكيلان دادگستري، استادان دانشگاه با اهداف مليگرايانه جهت برقراري آزادي، رفاه عمومي و استقلال طلبي. جبهه به معناي سازمان در برگيرندة احزاب، گروهها، اصناف و شخصيتهاي گوناگون است و جبهة ملي ايران از پديدههايي است كه در تاريخ ايران بدون داشتن نام در كوششهاي سياسي حضور داشته است و در 18 مهر 1328ش در پي گفتوگوي دكتر محمد مصدق<sup>*</sup> با فعالان سياسي با درخواست آزادي در انتخابات مجلس شانزدهم ابراز وجود كرد.<sup>1</sup> متعاقب آن حدود 000/10 تن از مردم در مقابل كاخ مرمر تهران اجتماع كردند و پس از گفتوگوهايي 20 تن از روزنامهنگاران، سياستمداران، وكيلان دادگستري و... به زعامت دكتر مصدق انتخاب شدند تا با خواستة آزادي در انتخابات در دربار تحصن كنند. اين تحصن سودي نبخشيد و متحصنان در يكم آبانماه 1328ش در منزل دكتر مصدق (خيابان كاخ، شمارة 109) اجتماع كردند<sup>2</sup> و جبهة ملي ايران را، كه نام آن را دكتر سيدحسين فاطمي<sup>*</sup> پيشنهاد داده بود، با هدف استقرار عدالت اجتماعي، اجراي قانون اساسي، انتخابات آزاد، آزادي بيان و بهبود وضع اقتصادي مملكت بنياد نهادند.<sup>3</sup> از آن جمع، مشاراعظم، دكتر شايگان، دكتر كريم سنجابي، محمود نريمان و شمسالدين اميرعلايي مأمور تهية اساسنامة جبهه شدند و جبهه با انتشار بيانيهاي مبني بر انتخابات عادلانه و آزادي مطبوعات رسماً اعلام موجوديت كرد.<sup>4</sup> جبهة ملي در تلاش براي ملي كردن صنعت نفت<sup>*</sup> از مبارزات مردمي بيرون از مجلس به زعامت آيتالله سيدابوالقاسم كاشاني نيز برخوردار شد و در 29 اسفند 1329ش صنعت نفت ملي شد. اما چندي بعد دولت ملي به نخست وزيري دكتر محمد مصدق در پي كودتاي 28 مرداد 1332ش سقوط كرد.<sup>5</sup> پس از كودتا، به ابتكار آيتالله سيدرضا زنجاني نهضت مقاومت ملي تشكيل شد، در 30 تيرماه 1339ش جبهة ملي دوم همزمان با برخي تحولات جديد و نهضت ديني ايرانيان تشكيل شد.<sup>6</sup> بعدها در تشخيص شناخت جبهه از حزب، اختلاف نظرهايي پيش آمد كه دكتر مصدق با پذيرش اصل شركت احزاب در 1342ش تشكيل جبهة ملي سوم را پذيرفت. جبهة ملي سوم با قيام 15 خرداد 1342ش و سركوب آن و دستگيري رهبران ملي و در آن ميان تبعيد آيتالله خميني،<sup>*</sup> شكل نيافت. جبهة ملي چهارم نيز همزمان با حركت جديد در راستاي انقلاب اسلامي<sup>*</sup> تشكيل شد. ليكن بنا بر سياستهاي دولت جمهوري اسلامي و پارهاي تضادهاي گذشته جبهة ملي ايران نتوانست به فعاليتهاي خود ادامه دهد و از هم پاشيد. <br />
