پس از انقلاب در 1359ش در نمايشنامهي «فيزيكدانها» نوشتة دورنمات و نمايش «در اعماق اجتماع» براساس داستاني از ماكسيم گوركي بازي كرد. پس از آن نيز در چند نمايش ديگر شركت داشت. <br />

آخرين حضور شيخي در نمايشنامة «پچپچه»، نوشتة محمد چرمشير با الهام از خاطرات او در 1377ش و با بازيگري خود او بود.<sup>4</sup> <br />
