<p><b>صفحهٔ تازه</b></p><div>'''حبلالمتين،''' هفتهنامة حبلالمتين به مديريت نويسنده و روزنامهنگار ايراني ساكن در هند، سيدجلالالدين حسيني ملقب به مؤيدالاسلام (1280ـ1349ق / 1863ـ1930م) به مدت طولاني در شهر كلكتة هندوستان به زبان فارسي منتشر ميشد دوران طولاني انتشار اين نشريه نزديك به چهل سال بود. نخستين شمارة اين هفتهنامه روز 10 جماديالثاني 1311ق / ؟م چاپ و منتشر شد. هر شماره بين 16 تا 24 صفحه و قطع وزيري داشت و با حروف سربي به طبع ميرسيد. اسم روزنامه به خط نسخ درشت و بالاي آن كلمة «نامة مقدسه» درج شده و در زير آن سال تأسيس (1311ق) درج گرديده و در يك طرف قيمت اشتراك و در طرف ديگر ساير خصوصيات روزنامه نوشته شده است. <br />

اين نشريه هفتهاي يك بار روزهاي دوشنبه به چاپ ميرسيد و تعدادي از تيراژ آن به ايران ارسال ميگرديد و به تدريج در اينجا صاحب اعتبار و موقعيت شد و به اكثر مناطق كشور فرستاده ميشد. اما به تدريج دولتمردان ايراني از مندرجات آن هراسان شدند و امينالسلطان ورود آن را به مدت 4 سال به كشور ممنوع كرد. چند بار هم دولت هند اين نشريه را توقيف كرده بود.<sup>1</sup> دولت هند از جمله يك بار به مدت 8 سال از انتشار آن بين 1295 تا 1303 ش جلوگيري كرد. پس از رفع توقيف تا هنگام وفات مؤيدالاسلام يعني تا آذر 1309ش انتشار اين نشريه بيوقفه ادامه يافت. <br />

حبلالمتين در دوران طولاني انتشار خدمات مهمي به نهضت مشروطه و براي رهايي ايرانيان از يوغ استبداد انجام داد و چون در هند به چاپ ميرسيد مطالب خود را در انتقاد از مقامات و شرح مفاسد و عيوب بيپروا عرضه ميداشت. حبلالمتين براي آشنا كردن علما و روحانيون با مفاهيم سياسي جديد، چند سال براي اينان به رايگان ارسال ميگرديد. اين نشريه از نظر عقيده، گرايش به اتحاد اسلام داشت و بخشي از مقالات آن مذهبي بود. اين نشريه در زمان استبداد صغير و تعطيلي مطبوعات ايران خدمات مهمي به استقرار مجدد آزادي و مشروطه انجام داد.<sup>2</sup> اين روزنامه در عصر خود از همة نشريات فارسي مهمتر و مشهورتر بود. تيراژ آن هر شماره به 35000 نسخه بالغ شده بود و بارها در شمارههاي مختلف پيشنهاد وضع قانون و حكومت مشروطه را داده بود.<sup>3</sup> <br />

روزنامة حبلالمتين در تهران هم با همين نام به عنوان شعبة آن به مديريت سيدحسن كاشاني برادر كوچكتر مؤيدالاسلام به چاپ ميرسيد. حبلالمتين تهران از 15 ربيعالاول 1325ق شروع به انتشار كرد و بيشتر مقالات آن را سيديحيي كاشاني مينوشت كه در نگاشتن مقالات سياسي و اجتماعي تبحّر يافته بود. حبلالمتين تهران هم به زودي شهرت يافت و تا پيروزي محمدعلي شاه و برقراري استبداد صغير انتشار آن ادامه يافت. پس از فتح تهران به دست مشروطهخواهان بار ديگر انتشار آن آغاز شد.<sup>5</sup><br />
