<p><b>صفحهٔ تازه</b></p><div>'''حزب ملت ايران،''' سابقة تأسيس اين حزب به زمان اشغال ايران در دورة جنگ جهاني دوم توسط نيروهاي متفقين باز ميگردد كه در پانزدهم شهريورماه 1326ش تني چند از دانشجويان دانشگاه تهران به عنوان تنها دانشگاه ايران با تمايلات ملي و ميهن دوستانه و خود آگاهي اجتماعي براي رهايي ميهن و برقراري استقلال گرد هم آمدند و مكتبي را «بنياد» نهادند كه بعدها به «پان ايرانيسم» (با آرمان سياسي ايران دوستي و همبستگي همه اقوام ايراني) شهرت يافت و آن روز به عنوان «روز بنياد» سرآغاز نهضت جديد ناسيوناليسم ايراني بر ضد امپرياليسم شناخته شد.<sup>1</sup> در 1330ش از درون آن مكتب حزب ملت ايران بر بنياد پانايرانيسم و وحدت ايرانيان در سراسر جهان موجوديت خود را به عنوان يك نيروي جوان به دبيركلي حسنعلي صارم طلايي و بعد داريوش فروهر در ارتباط با جبهة ملي ايران<sup>*</sup> به رهبري دكتر محمد مصدق<sup>*</sup> در راستاي نهضت ملي ايران اعلام كرد.<sup>2</sup> با كودتاي 28 مرداد 1332ش دبير كل و بسياري از اعضاي حزب بازداشت شدند، در زمان تشكيل نهضت مقاومت ملي به ابتكار آيتالله حاج سيدرضا زنجاني اعضاي حزب تا 1338ش با آن همكاري كردند وبا تشكيل جبهة ملي دوم (1339ش) با آن هم آهنگ شدند.<sup>3</sup> همزمان با سركوب قيام 15 خرداد 1342ش كه به رهبري آيتالله خميني<sup>*</sup>بود، جبهة ملي سوم نيز تشكيل شده بود، كه داريوش فروهر و برخي فعالان سياسي ديگر دستگير شدند. در 1349ش، فروهر با جدايي بحرين از ايران مخالفت كرد و به 3 سال زندان محكوم شد. همزمان با اوجگيري نهضت اسلامي در 1356ش، فروهر به عنوان سخنگوي جبهة ملي ايران منصوب شد و حزب ملت ايران هرگونه همكاري با سلطنت پهلوي<sup>*</sup> را مردود دانست. با پيروزي انقلاب اسلامي<sup>*</sup> فروهر به سمت وزير كار دولت مهندس مهدي بازرگان برگزيده شد اما در 1360ش پس از استعفاي دولت، حزب ملت ايران در شرايط اختناق قرار گرفت و اعضاء آن مانند فروهر زنداني شدند. اما فعاليت حزب از دهة 1370ش به شيوههاي جديد گسترش يافت و در 1377ش داريوش فروهر و پروانه اسكندري (فروهر) هر دو در منزل خود كشته شدند. اما حزب ملت ايران همچنان به موجوديت خود برپاية ناسيوناليسم ايراني و مبارزات دموكراتيك بر پاية فرهنگ و آرمانهاي عدالتخواهانه و با تشكيل شوراي مركزي و دبيري خسرو سيف ادامه يافت. اين حزب معتقد به اقتصاد كلان دولتي (ملي) و در اختيار داشتن ابزار و مالكيت شخصي بوده و هوادار اصلاحات ريشهدار در جامعه، اخذ علوم و فنون جديد جهاني بر پاية نيازهاي داخلي و تغييراتي در قانون اساسي (حقوق زنان و آموزش و پرورش و...) است.<sup>4</sup> اين حزب نيز با صدور اعلاميهها موضعگيريهاي خود را بيان ميكند.<br />
