در 1301 هـ. ش «سالومه» اثر اسكار وايلد را به فارسي برگرداند و سپس از زبان تركي نمايشنامههايي مانند «افسانة عشق» (1306)، «اصلي و كرم»، «كمربند سحرآميز» (1308) را به فارسي برگرداند.<sup>6</sup> نمايشنامهي «مجسمه مرمر» را در 1308 ش نوشت و آنرا به روي صحنه برد و خودش نقش اول آنرا بازي كرد. سال 1309ش. درخشانترين دورة فعاليت ادبي شهرزاد بود كه چندين نمايشنامه را به روي صحنه برد.<sup>7</sup> بعد از آن تا 1316 ش زندگي سختي را گذراند و سرانجام خودكشي كرد. <br />
