(د 1313ش / 1933م) روزنامه‌نگار و مدير روزنامة نام‌آور &#039;&#039;نسيم شمال&#039;&#039;. در قزوين ديده به جهان گشود. وي فرزند سيداحمد قزويني بود و در كودكي پدر را از دست داد. در 5 سالگي به رشت آمد و در آن‌جا پس از كسب معلومات اوليه براي تكميل تحصيلات عازم عتبات عاليات شد. اما اقامت او در آن‌جا دوران زيادي به طول نينجاميد. به آذربايجان آمد. پس از چند سال اقامت در آذربايجان به گيلان بازگشت و همانجا به سر مي‌برد تا انقلاب مشروطه به وقوع پيوست.<br /> <br /> وي در 1324ق در شهر رشت روزنامة &#039;&#039;نسيم شمال&#039;&#039; را تأسيس كرد و چون محمدعلي شاه پيروز شد و دوران استبداد صغير آغاز گرديد، روزنامة او هم توقيف شد. با پيروزي مجدّد مشروطه‌خواهان و فتح تهران، سيداشرف‌الدين موفق به تجديد انتشار روزنامه در تهران گرديد. سيداشرف‌الدين همسر اختيار نكرد، محل اقامت او در تهران در مدرسة صدر جنب مسجد شاه بود و همة امور خود را شخصاً اداره مي‌كرد.&lt;sup&gt;1&lt;/sup&gt; در پايان زندگي دچار جنون شد، گاه در تيمارستان و برخي اوقات بيرون از آن‌جا مي‌زيست.&lt;sup&gt;2&lt;/sup&gt; در همانجا شعر هم مي‌سرود و سروده‌هايش را چاپ مي‌كرد. سيداشرف‌الدين سرانجام در فروردين 1313ش در تهران درگذشت.&lt;sup&gt;3&lt;/sup&gt; <br /> <br /> تأليفات سيداشرف‌ به اين شرح است: 1- ديوان اشعار موسوم به &#039;&#039;باغ بهشت&#039;&#039;، مجموعة اشعار اوست كه از روزنامة &#039;&#039;نسيم شمال&#039;&#039; برگرفته شده است. 2- داستان عاشقانة &#039;&#039;عزيز و غزال&#039;&#039;. 3- &#039;&#039;تاريخ مختصر ايران&#039;&#039; به نظم كه در حدود 700 بيت دارد و در 1333ق به چاپ رسيده است. اما مهم‌ترين اثر او ديوان است.&lt;sup&gt;4&lt;/sup&gt; <br /> <br /> سيداشرف‌الدين به مباني ديني و مذهبي اعتقاد كامل داشت. معمولاً در اعياد و مراسم مذهبي قطعه‌اي مي‌سرود و در روزنامة خود درج مي‌كرد. اشعاري كه هر سال در ماه محرم و صفر در رثاي امام‌ حسين&lt;sup&gt;(ع)&lt;/sup&gt;
