در عين حال اين ساز توانسته است تا مناطقي از هرمزگان و كرمان نيز مهاجرت نمايد. خصوصيات ظاهري قيچك سيستاني باريكتر و بلندتر از قيچك بلوچي است و تعداد وترهاي آن نيز كمتر و تكنيكهاي اجرايي سادهتري دارد. قيچك متشكل از يك كاسهي طنيني دوقسمتي است كه دهانهي قسمت پائيني كاسه با پوست پوشانده شده و دهانهي بالايي كاسه باز ميباشد. دستهي قيچك كوتاه است و به لانهي كوك و سرپنجه منتهي ميشود. اين ساز داراي دو گروه وتر است. گروه اول، وترهاي اصلي است به تعداد 4 عدد در قيچك بلوچي و 3 عدد در قيچك سيستاني كه روي آنها آرشه كشيده ميشود. گروه دوم، وترهاي فرعي يا اخوان به تعداد حدود 7 عدد در قيچك بلوچي و سيستاني كه روي آنها آرشه كشيده نميشود و از طريق ارتعاش وترهاي اصلي به صدا درميآيند. قيچك از مهمترين سازهاي متداول در بلوچستان و سيستان ميباشد. قيچك بلوچي در بيشتر انواع موسيقي بلوچستان استفاده ميشود. قيچك سيستاني فقط در مراسم عروسي و شادماني مورد استفاده ميگيرد.<br />
