<p><b>صفحهٔ تازه</b></p><div>لغت فُرس اَسَدي / يا فرهنگ اَسَدي نخستين فرهنگ فارسي متكي به شواهد شعري1 تأليف حكيم ابومنصور علي اسدي طوسي* (د 465 ق)2 ظاهراً اسدي پس از نظم گرشاسب نامه* (سرودة 458 ق) به خواهش شاگردش، اردشير بن ديلمسپار النجمي القطبي شاعر به تأليف اين كتاب پرداخته است.3 ترتيب لغات لغت فرس بر اساس حرف آخر به عنوان «باب» است. بدين معنا كه مؤلف فرهنگ را با لغاتي كه آخر آنها به حرف الف ختم ميشود، با عنوان «باب الف» آغاز كرده و با لغاتي كه آخرشان به «ي» پايان مييابد با عنوان «باب يا» پايان بخشيده است.4 هدف اصلي اسدي از تأليف لغت فرس به ـ تصريح خودش ـ؛ رفع اشكال از واژههاي دشوار زبان دري براي سرايندگان معاصر مؤلف در اران و آذربايجان بوده كه با لغات دري در خراسان و ماوراءالنهر آشنايي نداشتهاند.5 گفتني است كه اسدي در اين فرهنگ از ابيات «گرشاسب نامه» به عنوان شاهد براي برخي از واژهها بهره برده است. او با تأليف اين اثر نه تنها به دليل ضبط و تعريف واژگان و تعيين عرفها، بلكه به خاطر درج اشعار شاعران متقدم چون ابوشكور بلخي*، شهيد بلخي*، رودكي* و معرفي آنان، كمك شاياني به زبان و ادب پارسي كرده است.6 لغت فرس اساس كار همة فرهنگنويسان بعدي قرار گرفته است. نخستين بار به وسيلة پاول هرن آلماني [1](گوتينگن، 1897م) و ديگر بار به تصحيح عباس اقبال آشتياني (تهران، 1319ش) و محمد دبيرسياقي (تهران، 1336 و 1356 ش) به چاپ رسيد. فتحالله مجتبايي و علي اشرف صادقي نيز چاپ منقحي از آن ارائه دادهاند.7<br />
