يكي از معتبرترين كتابخانه‌هاي مدارس ديني ايران كه به نام‌هاي «ناصريه»، «سپهسالار»، و «دانشكدة معقول و منقول»، شهرت داشته است. ميرزا حسين‌خان سپهسالار (1241- 1298ق / 1825-1881م) صدراعظم ناصرالدين شاه قاجار در 1296ق / 1879م در صدد ايجاد مسجد و مدرسه‌اي در ضلع جنوبي باغ منزل خود برآمد و در 1297ق / 1880م كتابخانة مدرسه را تأسيس كرد.&lt;sup&gt;1&lt;/sup&gt; سال بعد با خريد كتابخانة شخصي اعتضاد‌السلطنه، وزير علوم و معارف ناصرالدين شاه، مجموعه‌اي ارزشمند از كتاب‌هاي خطي را به موقوفه‌هاي خود افزود.&lt;sup&gt;2&lt;/sup&gt; پس از درگذشت سپهسالار، ناصرالدين شاه براساس وقفنامة مدرسه كه حاكم عصر را متولي آن قرار داده بود، توليت مدرسه را بر عهده گرفت و يحيي خان مشيرالدوله را كه وزارت عدلية آن زمان را در دست داشت، مأمور تكميل بنا و تأسيس مدرسه كرد؛ اما او نيز قبل از پايان كار درگذشت.&lt;sup&gt;3&lt;/sup&gt; در 1304-1305ش به دستور علي اصغر حكمت، وزير فرهنگ آن عصر، فهرستي از كتاب‌ها زير نظر بديع‌الزمان فروزانفر&lt;sup&gt;*&lt;/sup&gt; تهيه شد.&lt;sup&gt;4&lt;/sup&gt; از آن سال به بعد تا 1313ش، 294 نسخة خطي و چاپي مدرسة سعدالدوله يا «سعديه»، 219 نسخة خطي مدرسة صدر، و 612 جلد كتاب مدرسة مشيرالدوله به اين كتابخانه منتقل شد.&lt;sup&gt;5&lt;/sup&gt; در 1313ش مدرسه با عنوان «دانشكدة معقول و منقول دانشگاه تهران» افتتاح شد و تني چند از استادان و مدرسان آن زير نظر بديع‌الزمان فروزانفر به تهية فهرستي از كتاب‌هاي آن همت گماشتند.&lt;sup&gt;6&lt;/sup&gt; در 1329ش كتابخانه از ساختمان پيشين به ساختمان مجاور آن در ضلع شرقي ميدان بهارستان و در جنب مجلس شوراي اسلامي انتقال يافت.&lt;sup&gt;7&lt;/sup&gt; در 1335ش «انجمن ايراني فلسفه و علوم انساني» در تهران تهيه، چاپ و انتشار فهرستي از نسخ خطي كتابخانه را زير نظر علينقي منزوي و محمد تقي دانش‌پژوه&lt;sup&gt;*&lt;/sup&gt; در دستور كار خود قرار داد.&lt;sup&gt;8&lt;/sup&gt; از 1371ش گروهي از فارغ‌التحصيلان مدرسه به تصحيح اين فهرست‌ها پرداختند.&lt;sup&gt;9&lt;/sup&gt; نخستين رئيس كتابخانه ملا محمد ابراهيم ملاباشي لاريجاني بوده است. كتابخانه زير نظر معاونت پژوهشي مدرسه اداره و بودجة آن از طريق كمك‌هاي مردمي و موقوفات مدرسه تأمين مي‌گردد.&lt;sup&gt;10&lt;/sup&gt;
